Tayson slipped right into his new role as the Big Brother without a hitch.

I think he'll do just fine.

After we got her Home, we (and she) weren't sure of how well she would like it. 

Later it seemed, this place will suit me just fine.

I have been tagged by my friend Brynn to tell you about my Hubby so here you go:

What is your husbands full name? Jay William Barney

How long have you been married? 7 1/2 years 

Who eats more sweets? I think I prefer sweets more than he does but we trade off who eats more. 

Who said I love you first? He did.  Funny story you'll have to ask me about some time.

How old is he? 26 (27 in June)

Who is taller? He is.

Who is smarter?  He would definitely say he is because of my blond "Kara" moments, but this is up for debate at least I'm debating it.

Who can sing better? I really don't know.  Jay has a really great voice but doesn't like to share it as much as I do mine.  (I think I might share mine more than people want)

Who does the laundry? I do!

Who pays the bills? Me.  I try to let him know what's going on just in case I die.  

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me.  A couple of times Jay tried the ol' switcheroo and I pretty much had a mental breakdown like it was the most cruel thing he'd ever done.  He just did it for the reaction and he definitely got it.  

Who mows the lawn? Mostly Jay, but I do it once in a while.

Who cooks dinner? Me.  I think Jay is secretly better than I am though because he knows a lot more about cooking than I do, but I'm learning.

Who drives? He does, which is great.  I just feel like I'm being judged the whole time if I do (because I'm not the greatest driver).  Lately it's been hard though because I keep getting car sick when he drives (the whole prego thing)

Who kissed who first? Very mutual.  We even discussed the moment before it happened.  We still laugh about how weird that was.  

Who asked who out? Jay asked me.  He asked me to a dance and I was sooooooo thrilled.  

Who has more siblings? he does by 2.

Who wears the pants?  I think we both think we do, so it works out.

Eisa Dancing

On January 22nd, Tayson and I went on a little Okinawa tour that the base was giving and we really enjoyed all the fun sights.  We went to a visitor's center where they did a very popular dance, Eisa dancing.  When we got here, back in August, we saw a lot of Eisa dancing because that is the month they celebrate it.  We thought we'd like to share it with you since it is very common here.

Baby Update

I've had a couple requests for baby updates, so here you go.  I'm due March 2nd (9 days away).  I've been feeling pretty good.  I can tell my body is definitely getting ready because I'm achy and waddle quite a bit.  I don't know why these last days are so hard, but I just have to keep reminding myself how far I've already come and we're nearing the finish line.  I have no idea if I'm dilated yet, but we should find out at my next appointment on Thursday.  I think the 29th would be a really cool day to have her, but any sooner would suit me just fine.

Squooshies

Okay, so Tayson loves my upper arms and calls them his squooshies.  He likes to rub, squeeze, kiss and wrap them around him.  Of course I don't like the idea of my upper arms being called squooshies but he loves them so much I just play along.  The other day he was, once again, loving my arms and he said, "How come my squooshies keep getting bigger and bigger?  I explained that when I'm pregnant I get rounder everywhere not just my belly.  Then he says, "I remember them when I was three and they looked just like this."  All I can say is kids can be very motivating, so the second this baby is born I'm hitting the gym in hopes that squooshies will be long gone even if it means breaking Tayson's little heart.

Tayson Likes/Dislikes

Tayson really enjoyed hearing all the different things everyone likes and dislikes, so he wanted me to let you all know about him.

Tayson likes: Friends & Family, Ninja Turtles, Spiderman legos, Power Rangers, Super Heros, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Peanut butter and honey sandwiches, Trucks, Bike and helmet, riding his bike really fast, family home evening, Blue & Red, the Ninja Turtle movie, Power Ranger and Ninja Turtle underpants, adventure movies (Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings & Star Wars), his stuffed animal Liony and Doggy, bracelets and blanket.

Tayson Dislikes:  Mean kids, owies, bug bites, water in his eyes, bumping his head, being in the dark, and monsters.

So, there is a little about Tayson. 

New Uniform

Here's Jay sporting his new ABU (Airman's Battle Uniform).  He just got his clothing allowance and was really excited to be able to get the new uniform.  He is definitely lookin' good.
